Ranked #1, Microsoft Security Essentials is a great way to help keep your computer in tip-top shape (UNINSTALL YOUR OLD ANTIVIRUS FIRST!).  Antivirus / antispyware programs can't do everything or repair what infections break:  make wise choices online and in your email so you avoid unnecessary repairs!

Malwarebytes is free.  Run it when you think your computer has an infection, or once a month.

CHILD FILTERS

SafeEyes is our #1 recommended product for keeping your family safe.  It’s $50 / year for 3 computers, and it offers the best protection.

K9 is a FREE product, but can be hacked by clever children.  It also needs regular attention, so if you’re unable to keep up with it, go with SafeEyes.
